You could remove the pump -- measure / mark the engine block opening at the extremes of the pump slide pin -- then check the governor link for corresponding travel -- adjusting the part I marked with the arrow would require removing the front cover , maybe a few times, until it was "right" I have a New Holland 2000 TC40D, the fuel injector solenoid looks like it justs screws into the injector housing.
